Living with a narcissist can create self-doubt and emotional fatigue leading to isolation. Use Scripts for Common Manipulative Tactics<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When a narcissist is gaslighting and blame shifting with phrases like \u201cYou\u2019re imaging things\u201d or triangulating \u201ceveryone agrees with me\u201d or guilt tripping with a phrase like \u201cYou\u2019re the only one that can fix this\u201d, it\u2019s a clear red flag to run.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the narcissist is using phrases like these, keep responses short and to the point. It can be something that takes 5 minutes or 5 hours. It\u2019s whatever helps you recover.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using physical or mental distance gives you a chance to recharge. You need to include an emergency contingency plan.
